The National Museum of Korea provides an loT-based guide service introducing major exhibits in the permanent and special exhibition galleries. By utilizing Bluetooth beacons and smart devices, this exhibition guide service offers location-based automatic guidance for exhibits in five languages: Korean, English, Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese, as well as exhibition gallery maps, recommended routes, virtual reality experiences, stamps, and more.
Visitors can download and use the app for free from Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and One Store. We recommend downloading content in advance while connected to Wi-Fi for smooth guidance.
Please ensure that your location and Bluetooth functions are activated, and that your device supports Android 7.0 or higher, iOS 14.0 or higher, and Bluetooth 2,0 or higher.
This ‘National Museum of Korea’ Exhibition Guide App is a service that applies augmented reality (AR)-based indoor navigation technology to the National Museum of Korea.
Through ‘Navigation’ feature, visitors can easily locate exhibits, exhibition galleries, and facilities. The National Museum of Korea offers AR tours and AR content to enhance visitors’ understanding of the exhibits (AR-based services are provided in Korean and English).
