Gilt-silver Mirror Stand
This mirror stand is formed by two intersecting rectangular frames that fold together. The stand is made from wood, covered with a thin sheet of silver that features an elaborate phoenix and scroll design, rendered with the repoussé technique. On the top of one frame is a phoenix-shaped knob on a lotus-shaped base, where a mirror could be attached.
