This jar was excavated from the site of the Goryeo royal palace in Manwoldae, Gaeseong, North Korea. The jar was coated with a glaze, and gold powder was applied near the inlaid designs over the glaze as a colorful decorative feature. Dried flower edge exists on the flat part of its body and inside it is a monkey crouched below a tree, holding a peach in its hand. This scene was created using an inlaying technique.
