This clay standing Buddha was found at a temple site in Wono-ri near Pyongyang in 1937, along with 312 fragments of statues of Buddha and Bodhisattva. This one was made using a mold, and bears traces of the application of white and red colors. The lower part of the robe displays dense creases, showing the influence of statues made during the Northern Wei Dynasty.
