This is a small box for storing documents. It features various designs inlaid with mother-of-pearl, including peaches and a pair of birds on the top; tortoise shell and plum blossoms on the front; a pine tree, a crane, and a deer with a mountain in the background on the right side; and bamboos, plum blossoms, and birds on the left. There are three drawers below the storage space at the top.
