This is one of the gilt-bronze Buddha statues found from the stone pagoda of Sujongsa Temple. The robe is hung across the left shoulder, distinguishing it from the other statues discovered at Sujongsa Temple. The right hand rests in the right lap, while the palm of the left hand faces upward, with the thumb and the middle finger touching each other. Like the other gilt-bronze Buddha statues discovered at Sujongsa Temple, the body of this statue appears to bend forward.
