This prunus vase is regarded as a flawless masterpiece of Goryeo celadon. It has smooth lines and a graceful shape, and is adorned all over with a jade-colored glaze and widely spread designs. The elegant mouth shows a small sharp angle, while the narrow waist softly flows from the voluptuous shoulder. The gorgeous curve slightly reverses in the lower section. This work of art is the most sublime yet definitive example of Goryeo celadon prunus vases produced in the 12th century.
