This is an album containing two portraits of Yun Bong-gu, a neo-Confucian scholar of the late Joseon Period. In the first portrait, he is wearing a scholar’s robe and a black hood, while in the second one he is wearing a nobleman’s indoor cap and a robe with a black stripe. Brown lines are used to depict the contours of his face, including the nose. A three-dimensional effect was obtained by a special method of applying colors to the painting.
