Copying the scriptures by handwriting is called 'Sagyeong' in Korean Buddhism. Since 'Sagyeong' took a lot of effort, it was considered a deed for accumulating virtue. This is the copied text of volume 4 of the Avatamsaka Sutra (The Flower Garland Sutra), Zhenyuan Version, in silver on oak paper, assumed to have been produced in the 14th century.
