Gilt-bronze Crown Ornament
Goguryeo crowns are characterized by ornaments with exquisite leaf-shaped openwork patterns and edges that have been notched to resemble bird feathers. This set of wing-shaped, gilt-bronze upright ornaments is an important artifact that represents the quintessential features of Goguryeo gilt-bronze crowns. Notably, some crown ornaments found in Silla tombs, such as the silver crown from the south mound of Hwangnamdaechong Tomb and the feather-shaped gilt-bronze crown from Tap-ri in Uiseong, were made with similar technology, suggesting that early Silla crown ornaments were influenced by Goguryeo.
