This vessel stand, found in Bon-gwan-dong Tomb 36 in Goryeong, demonstrates the representative features of vessel stands from Daegaya. The earliest Gaya vessel stands, found generally in the region of Geumgwan Gaya, are cylindrical in shape, but the vessel stands of Daegaya have the characteristic hourglass shape of a janggo drum, with a wide base and narrow waist. This stand is decorated with vertical serpentine appliques and perforated with triangular holes.
