Scraper

Scrapers, which have been regularly found at Paleolithic sites, were made by working the sides of a thin stone to form a cutting edge. This short, thin cutting edge is what differentiates scrapers from the end-scrapers of the Late Paleolithic period, which typically have a taller, steeper edge. Scrapers can be classified into several categories according to the shape of the cutting edge. Based on the shape and angle of the blade, as well as marks indicating wear, scrapers seem to have been used to trim wood or leather.
