Tobacco Pipe Rest with Floral Design

This blue-and-white porcelain work from the 19th century features a squared body and was used as a holder for a tobacco pipe. It has a large hole in the front face to fit the pipe and additional holes in a floral design arranged on the top and on the other three sides to allow smoke to escape.
