Chinese Mirror Unearthed in Gaeseong

This is a bronze mirror unearthed in Gaegyeong, the capital city of Goryeo, which is today’s Gaeseong in North Korea. The inscriptions on the mirror suggest that it was made in an atelier in Huzhou, China during the Northern Song or Southern Song period and then exported to Goryeo.
