Dining Table

The legs of this small dining table have a gentle S-curve with the ends extended slightly outward, a style known as “tiger legs.” Such legs were sometimes further adorned with plant- or bamboo-shaped decorations. The tabletops, which are generally round or twelve-sided, often have some type of decorative openwork panels attached below, as seen here. Produced across Korea, this type of small dining table was used by every class of people, from royalty to peasantry.
