Uigwe for the Royal Wedding of King Sukjong and Queen Ingyeong
This Uigwe documents the wedding process of King Sukjong, then the crown prince, to Queen Ingyeong in 1671, which was the king's first marriage. The directorate in charge of the royal wedding, managed the wedding process from the final selection of the crown princess in the 12th month of the year through to the welcoming ceremony for the bride in the fourth month of the following year. The banchado illustration included in the Uigwe depicts the regalia of the crown princess, simpler than those of the queen.
