This Uigwe documents the process of renovating Jongmyo Shrine's spirit
tablets, which were damaged during the Byeongja Manchu War. During the period immediately following the war, the king and subjects debated on the scope of the renovation, and this book details how they discussed and reached an agreement. Also included is a list of the spirit tablets, illustrating the extent of the damages to the tablets. According to this, a total of 11 spirit tablets were repaired at that time.
