Model letters form Chunhua Pavilion

This is the initial Song-dynasty model-letters compendium, which was first compiled in 992, the third year of the Chunhua (淳化) reign of Emperor Taizong
(太宗) of Northern Song, China. Focusing on Wang Xizhi (王羲之) and Wang Xianzhi (王獻之), the compendium includes the calligraphy of successive emperors, illustrious subjects, and renowned calligraphers. Chunhua ge tie (淳化閣帖) was continuously copied in stone engravings, supplemented and amended, and it has served as an instrumental book for studying calligraphy in East Asia.
