White Porcelain Bottle with string Design in Underglaze Iron-brown

Visitor : Isn’t this white porcelain bottle a well-known work famous for original decorations?
Curator : Correct. Notice this string hung around the thin bottle neck with one end dangling down. This gentle and bold line conveys power.
On the bottom of the bottle, there is an enigmatic inscription in Hangeul, the Korean alphabet. Although we cannot guess the meaning, we can deduce from it that this vessel was made sometime after the invention of Hangeul.
