Bottle with Fish, Buncheong ware painted in underglaze iron–brown

Buncheong ware with iron-painted designs was produced in kilns in the Gyeryongsan Mountain area in Chungcheong-do Province. These
vessels are characterized by strong black-and-white contrasts and their unique expressions of fish designs. The faces of the fish are similar,
but the representation of their scales and fins differ. The lotus buds suggest that these fish are in a pond.
