This slip-brushed bottle features a design rendered in iron oxide on the largest of the divided sections. A lotus blossom and leaf are
arranged separately in a spacious manner. The design is further detailed with depictions of insects, one seated on the lotus leaf and
another flying. The design resembles a painting of a pond scene. The vessel is characterized overall by the painterly brushwork typical of buncheong ware decorated with iron-brown underglaze.
