Maebyeong produced during the 14th century lost the gently curved silhouettes characteristic of the heyday of Goryeo celadon and instead
came to display a more exaggerated S-curve. The state-led management system of ceramics was increasingly being neglected during this period, resulting in the deterioration of the quality of vessels.
