Celadon Stem Cup with Bosanghwa Scroll with inlaid design
Stem cup first appeared during the late Goryeo dynasty and were produced throughout the Joseon era. High-footed cups such as this example were also produced in the Longquan and Jingdezhen kiln sites during the Yuan dynasty in China, but only a small number of
them has been excavated or handed down in Korea. Examples made in celadon during the Goryeo dynasty have mainly been recovered
from Buddhist temple sites.
