Celadon Bottle and Maebyeong, Vase painted in underglaze iron-brown
Iron-brown underglaze painting involves decorating surfaces by rendering designs in iron oxide pigment with a brush. Ceramics in this style were mainly produced in kiln sites located in Jinsan-ri, Haenam, Jeollanam-do Province. Vessels with beautiful designs rendered in iron-brown underglaze were also made at kiln sites in Sadang-ri, Gangjin.
