The soft elegant curves and jade-green color displayed in this vessel
demonstrate the aesthetics pursued in the 12th century in Korea.
Fine lines were added to express the details of the lotus petals. The
glaze concentrated in the deeply incised lines adds further threedimensionality
to the vessel.
