Bottle, Celadon
This piece was modeled after metal bottles with two lugs. This celadon
vessel from the early Goryeo dynasty displaying a form originating in
metalware presents an elegant beauty characterized by the harmony
between its remarkable form and the jade-green glaze. It is presumed
to have been a ritual vessel, but there is a possibility that it was used
as a flower vase or simply as an ornamental object for appreciation.
