Flower-shaped Bowl, Celadon
From early on, the potters of the Goryeo dynasty produced various
flower-shaped bowls using molds. The bowl does not feature any
designs or other forms of ornamentation, but the use of jade-green
glaze highlights its pure and elegant beauty. Vessels with a form
identical to this example were produced in China during the Northern
Song dynasty at the Ru kilns located in Henan Province.
