Ritual Vessel Shards, Goryeo white porcelain
The kiln site in Jungdeok Village was excavated in the 1980s and became known as the historic remains at which a kiln made of bricks could be confirmed for the first time in Korea. A kiln site in Sangban Village in the area was surveyed after 2000, and together with the Jungdeok kiln sites it is an important source for identifying the process of change in the structure of kilns over the early Goryeo period and the development of Goryeo white porcelain.
