Quadrilateral Bottle, White porcelain
This style of bottle emerged in the late eighteenth century based on inspiration from Chinese porcelain. It is constructed from four rectangular slabs on a square base. Bottles of this type were often painted with landscape designs or covered entirely in cobalt-blue underglaze.
