This is a white porcelain foliated cup with twelve lobes. The inner surface features a blue underglaze line along the rim and an inscription of “太和盃” (taehwabae), meaning “cup wishing for grand harmony”. This artifact aptly exhibits how Joseon blue-and-white porcelain was often augmented with characters or poems embedded with meaning.
