Bowl with Lotus Scroll, White porcelain with inlaid design

This bowl, with elegant designs and relatively thin walls, exemplifies the characteristics of soft white porcelain vessels of the early Joseon period, which succeeded the tradition of Goryeo white porcelain. The use of the inlay technique reflects the production style of the previous period, but the form of the vessel and the arrangement of designs are more reminiscent of Chinese white porcelain bowls.
