White Porcelain Bottle

White Porcelain Bottle
With a soft flowing curve from the flared mouth to the voluminous body, pear-shaped bottles such as this one are known as “yuhuchun.” They were first produced in the late Goryeo period, before becoming more popular in the Joseon period. With wonderful harmony between the ideal shape and the light clear glaze, this is one of the finest yuhuchun bottles of the early Joseon period.
