Vase

This vase was created by crafting silver wires into a flowering plant to form a basket before blowing melted glass in it. The outside is bright yellow, the inside is white, and the mouth is decorated with silver. The piece is outstanding in terms of the refined craftsmanship and intricate assembly applied to the silver, rather than the glass. This piece represents the perfect combination of the technical experiences of the artist, who was originally a glass artist and studied chasing techniques at the Tokyo National Fine Art School.
