This buncheong dish is inscribed in white with the place name “Haman” (咸安) in the center of the underside of the bottom and “Jangheaunggo” (長興庫), the name of a government office. The Jangheunggo was established in 1308 (the 34th year of the reign of King Chungnyeol of the Goryeo Dynasty) to take charge of the supply of cloth and paper. It remained in operation until the Joseon period. A light brown glaze has been evenly applied on the surface, adding a clear and transparent beauty to the dish.
