This record was composed after the restoration and repainting of the Ten Kings of Hell Statues. According to the text, the restoration of the Statues was sponsored by two court ladies, lady Hong and Lady Lee, in the first year of the Geonyang era(1896).
As the temple's name is not mentioned in the document, it is unclear which temple originally housed the statues. However, based on monk artisan’s name, it is presumed that the statues were housed in a temple located in the Seoul or Gyeonggi-do Province region.
