Pranidhi Scene

This is part of a pranidhi scene painted on the wall of Cave 15. It features an elderly male monk holding a robe to be offered to the Buddha of the past. The monk's depiction is quite distinctive as he has a high nose, protruding cheekbones, green eyes, and red hair. On the right edge of the mural, there is an inscription of a later addition in Uighur script. The inscription states the date March 28th of the Year of the Sheep and a person named Aryasena and the need for a model to be copied is mentioned.
