This is one of the images of the Twelve Zodiac Animal Deities made of agalmatolite, which were unearthed from what is known to be the tomb of General Kim Yu-sin of Silla. This deity with a rabbit’s head displays an imposing figure, standing on a rock, a shield in its right hand and a short sword in its left hand. Its gorgeously adorned armor is realistically portrayed.
