This is a portable compass made during the late Joseon Period. Its lid is adorned with the Ten Longevity Symbols, including the Sun, stone, water, cloud, pine tree, deer, turtle, crane, and peach. The map of a city is exquisitely inscribed at the bottom of the compass’s body.
