This jade seal was presented to Empress Myeongseong in 1921 along with the posthumous title, Jehwi Yeolmok (literally meaning, “Uniform Beauty and Solid Harmony”). The face of the seal is square, while the knob is carved in the shape of a turtle and has a hole for attaching or tying it with a string.
