This epitaph was written for a daughter of Kim Ji-won, a local clerk in Gyeongju, Gyeongsang-do Province. The omission of a husband’s name from the epitaph has been attributed to her unmarried status. The eight-petal flower-shaped tablet seems to represent the father’s deep affection for a loving and beloved daughter who predeceased him.
