This Buddhist statue, which probably represents a guardian Buddha, is known to have been found at the stone coffin of Lady Yang, the wife of Lord Namwon. A record in her epitaph states that her funeral took place in 1156, indicating that the statue was made before 1156. The portable shrine holding the statue is made of silver, while its front is ornamented with a vine design, its two sides with a cloud design, and its back with Sanskrit script.
