The number of visitors to the NMK reached fifteen-million around 11 am on January 4, 2011, after five years and two months since its relocation to Yongsan in October, 2005. The lucky person was Mr. Lee Hyo-min, a Singapore Management University exchange student from Yonsei University, who was visiting with his friends, Paritta from Thailand, Virginia from France, and Apichaya from Thailand.

He was presented with a reproduction of a gold crown which had been excavated from the Cheonmachong tomb (National Treasure No. 188), a copy of Collection Catalog of the NMK, an invitation ticket to the special exhibition Silk Road and Dunhuang, in which Wang ocheonchukguk jeon was firstly introduced to the general public. In addition, he was welcomed by the NMK’s director, Choe Kwang-shik.
