Gilt-bronze Bear-shaped Table Legs

Many lacquerware artifacts, including tableware, were discovered at Seokam-ri Tomb 9 in Pyeongyang. Among these artifacts was a lacquerware table, consisting of a long, rectangular tray with four gilded legs shaped like bears. Gilded ear-shaped decorations were attached to the four corners of the tray, and the sides were further adorned with small gold beads. Notably, the table is inscribed with the name of its maker and its date of production, providing valuable information about the historical context in which it was made.
