This Uigwe documents the wedding process of King Sukjong and Queen Inhyeon. Following the passing of the king's first consort Queen Ingyeong, whom he had married as the crown prince, he married his second consort Queen Inhyeon. The king's second wedding ceremony continued for two months. The Illustration of the Welcoming Ceremony for the Bride depicts the procession of King Sukjong escorting Queen Inhyeon to the royal palace, demonstrating that the regalia of the queen were greater that those of the crown princess.
