Yugil Album (Album of cailligraphy)
This is an album of 16 volumes compiling the calligraphy of the Joseon dynasty. The album includes some of Chinese and Kim Saeng's calligraphy, but it is mainly dedicated to the calligraphic works from the early Joseon period through the eighteenth century, including those of Prince Anpyeong (安平大君, 1418–1453) and Kim Sujeung (金壽增, 1624–1701), in the form of letters and poems, among others.
The composition of the album suggests that it was compiled and produced by a collector with a high level of connoisseurship. The extensive quantity and diverse contents of the album provide a deep insight into the development of Joseon calligraphy.
