In the center of the inner base is a Chinese character “壽” (longevity) stylized into a round form and surrounded by clouds. The outer surface features an alternating arrangement of the characters “壽” and “福” (good fortune). The inscription on the outer bottom suggests that the dish was produced in 1850.
