This buncheong ware is in the shape of a maebyeong, or prunus vase, a popular form of vase in the late Goryeo period. It is inlaid with a dragon riding the waves. This vase features the characteristics of the maebyeong made from the late Goryeo to the early Joseon period. The production of maebyeong gradually fell from the early Joseon period.
