This crown displays the typical characteristics of gilt-bronze crowns produced in the mid-6th century. By this period, gilt-bronze crowns had adopted a change from preceding ones in terms of their shape and production technique. They feature a four-twig adornment and a taller upstanding adornment. Also, a deer antler-shaped adornment disappeared and the number of upstanding adornments increased from four to five.
