This is one of the gilt-bronze Buddha statues found in the stone pagoda of Sujongsa Temple. It wears a jeweled crown, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. A bird is inscribed inside the round adornment on the front of the crown, indicating that this statue is the Sunlight Bodhisattva, an attendant of Bhaisajyaguru Buddha. Its upper body is bent slightly forward, a feature it shares with the Buddha statues discovered at Sujongsa Temple.
