These shield-shaped bronze artifacts were excavated at the archaeological site in Goejeong-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon. No one knows exactly what they were made for, although the general consensus is that they were used as ritual objects. The front face is decorated with bands of dotted rows arranged vertically at the center and along the edges. There are also four holes at the upper part whose inside parts are slightly worn, suggesting that the object was hung with a string tied through them.
